We Welcomed Four New Team Members To Salon HER
Kirstie, Jake, Morgan and Clea joined the team this spring! First up is Kirstie, our new Front of House and your dedicated go-to for any questions or in-salon assistance. Then in October, Jake joined the team—our new Expert Stylist, who brings an unwavering set of skills to the salon, including an unmatched ability to create soft lived-in colours, wearable blondes, and dimensional brondes. We’re Now Using Redken To Transform Your Hair
Salon HER officially partnered with Redken this spring, so we’re now using Redken products across both colour and care when you step into the salon. “I’m so excited to be back with my Redken family,” said MK. “Not only do we use these incredible formulas to transform our client’s hair, but we also stock them so you can experience the Salon HER difference at home.” Oh, and did we mention that MK also joined the Redken Pro Influencer Team? We can’t wait to show you what else Salon HER and Redken has in store for you in 2024!
MK Attended The Australian Fashion Hair Awards
In November, MK attended the Australian Fashion Hair Awards (AFHA) and made an impact at MANGE STAGE, an industry event for influential hairdressers covering all areas of artistry. Our very own founder took over the stage for an informative segment, sharing his expert tips to an audience of more than 300 people. Following the event, MK attended the Redken Power Network Dinner with Zara, Salon HER’s Head of Operations and Business Development for an evening celebrating our amazing new partnership with Redken!
We Launched Our Online Store!
In case you missed it, we launched our very own online boutique, so you can now have the luxury of Salon HER delivered straight to your door. This curated offering of hair care products has been personally hand-picked by our founder, MK, and has everything from nourishing Oribe shampoos, to strengthening K18 masks, and even a curation of must-have skincare by Viviology. We’re excited to expand the range and we’ll continue to bring you some of the team’s favourite products, as well the latest and greatest haircare essentials as soon as they hit shelves. We Hosted Two Incredible Masterclasses At HER
MK welcomed renowned hairdresser Kaine Vakai into Salon HER for an exclusive masterclass on colour. In addition to the world-class educational experience, guests were pampered with luxury gift bags brimming with products from Redken, Oribe and Kerastase. Last month, our very own Master Colourist & Stylist, James Plain hosted a cutting masterclass alongside Brisbane-based hairstylist Jaiden Ogden.
