We Won AHIA’s Best Business Newcomer Of The Year 2023!
Salon HER was named as the AHIA’s Best Business Newcomer Of The Year for 2023 at the Australian Hair Industry Awards. First named as finalists for Best Salon Design and Best Business Newcomer, Salon HER later took home the award for Best Business Newcomer on the night, which Salon HER founder Michael Kelly referred to as a “huge honour”. In accepting the award at the glamorous industry event, Michael said: “Bringing Salon HER to fruition has been the most challenging yet rewarding experience of not just my career but also my life.” He dedicated the award to his team, saying, “Without my team there would be no Salon HER. So this award really does belong to them.” He added: “Thank you to all the people who have led me to this path. And to the industry, the good, bad and the ugly... you have changed my life more than I ever thought possible.”

Zara Joined The Team
We welcomed the wonderful Zara Larkin into the role of Head of Operations and Business Development. With more than 16 years experience in the beauty space working across both retail stores and salons, Zara was most recently Salon Manager at Edwards & Co. In her role at Salon HER, she will support Michael to drive the business into an exciting new era. Welcome, Zara!
We Launched A Skincare Brand In Salon
In July, we were very excited to officially welcome Viviology Skin to Salon HER. Created by visionary dermal therapist and friend of the salon, James Vivian, Viviology is accessible, inclusive and results-driven. Vivian’s idea was to create a confusion-free cosmeceutical skincare line which is backed by science at a reasonable price. With products priced from $59, Viviology Skin is now exclusively available in Sydney to shop in store at Salon HER.
